New Delhi. The second match of the ODI series being played between India and New Zealand at Sidon Park in Hamilton on Sunday could not be completed due to rain. After several interruptions, the umpires finally decided to call off the match. Team India’s captain Shikhar Dhawan looked disappointed due to the non-match. He said that now we will have to wait for the third match. The third and final ODI will be played in Christchurch on 30 November.

Sanju had to sit out because of the sixth bowler
Shikhar Dhawan said that we wanted the sixth bowler to come into the team, so Sanju Samson had to sit out. Along with Hooda, Deepak Chahar was selected because he can swing the ball well. He said, as a team, we want to perform well in Christchurch by correcting our processes.

New Zealand is ahead 1-0 in the three ODI series. The Indian team cannot capture the series now, but it definitely has a chance to equalize the series by winning the last match.
