New Delhi. Telecom major Jio is on top in terms of average download and upload speed on the 4G network. This information has been given from the data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). TRAI removed BSNL from the list of 4G speeds in October, as the company has not started 4G services yet.
Jio topped the download speed last month with an average speed of 20.3 megabits per second (Mbps).
Airtel’s number comes after Jio in the list of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India. The company recorded a download speed of 15 Mbps during October. After this, Vodafone Idea (Vi) comes in third place with a speed of 14.5 Mbps.
Jio’s 4G upload speed dropped to 6.2 Mbps in October from 6.4 Mbps in September. However, the company retained its top position in the category.
