Not only this, the entrepreneurs received orders for the supply of various products, which would be beneficial for marketing their products in the future.

The Khadi India Pavilion at Pragati Maidan showcased premium Khadi textiles, village industry products produced by Khadi artisans in rural settings, Malmal Khadi from West Bengal, Pashmina from Jammu and Kashmir, Patola silk from Gujarat, Banarasi silk, Bhagalpuri silk, Phulkari from Punjab, Kalamkari and many other types of cotton, silk and woolen products from Andhra Pradesh were well received.
In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi‘s vision to take Gandhiji‘s dream of Khadi to the global level, KVIC Chairman Manoj Kumar felicitated all the artisans and participants with certificates and thanked them for their participation in the trade fair.
The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) set up the ‘Khadi India Pavilion’ in Hall No. 3 of the India International Trade Fair 2022 to showcase the finest hand-crafted Khadi and Village Industries products. Through the Khadi India Pavilion, the Commission made Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s thought of “Vocal for Local, Local to Global” relevant. Several dignitaries, diplomats/ambassadors from embassies, and Members of Parliament besides lakhs of visitors visited the ‘Khadi India’ pavilion set up by KVIC at the fair. In the theme pavilion of this ‘Khadi India Pavilion’, Mahatma Gandhi and ‘Selfie Point’ with Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also the center of attraction for all the visitors.
Through the huge participation of more than 200 stalls showcasing the craftsmanship, cultural diversity, and traditional crafts of the country, representatives of Khadi artisans/entrepreneurs and small-scale industries got an opportunity to meet the Khadi lovers and know the interest of the customers at the India International Trade Fair.
