Anant Ambani will marry Radhika Merchant, ‘stopped’ at Shrinathji temple in Nathdwara
Anant Ambani & Radhika Merchant – Anant Ambani, the youngest son of businessman Mukesh Ambani, will marry Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant.
New Delhi. Anant Ambani, the youngest son of businessman Mukesh Ambani, will marry Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant. The family made this announcement on Thursday. Shaila and Viren Merchant’s daughter Radhika and Anant’s ‘Roka’ (engagement) ceremony was performed at the Shrinathji temple in Nathdwara, Rajasthan on Thursday in the presence of family members and friends.
A statement issued by the family said that after the engagement, the young couple spent the day at the temple to seek the blessings of Lord Shrinathji for their life ahead. However, it was not told when the wedding would take place.
Radhika is an Indian classical dance artist.
Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita organized a grand ‘Arangetram’ ceremony for Radhika at Mumbai’s Jio World Center in June this year. This was Radhika’s first stage dance performance or ‘Arangetram’, a trained Indian classical dance artist. She is the daughter of Viren Merchant, CEO of Encore Healthcare, and Shaila Merchant.

The engagement ceremony of Radhika Merchant, daughter of Shaila and Viren Merchant and Anant Ambani, son of Nita and Mukesh Ambani was performed at the Shrinathji Temple at Nath Dwara today.

The statement read, “Ananth and Radhika have known each other for a few years and today’s ceremony marks the beginning of the formal journey of their marriage in the months to come. Both families seek everyone’s blessings and best wishes for Radhika and Anant as they begin their journey of being together.”
Anant and Radhika have been friends for some time
While Anant studied at Brown University in America, Radhika is a graduate of New York University. Ananth heads the energy business of Reliance and Radhika serves as a director on the board of Encore Healthcare.
