Chapra Hooch Tragedy: Chhapra liquor case reached Supreme Court, demand for SIT formation and compensation 

Bihar News: More than 50 people have died after drinking spurious liquor in Chhapra, Bihar. The Chhapra liquor case has reached the Supreme Court. A petition has been filed regarding this in the apex court. In this, a demand has been made to set up an SIT to investigate the matter. Along with this, compensation has also been demanded the dependents of the deceased.

So far more than 50 people have died in Chhapra spurious liquor case. At the same time, the Chief Minister of the state Nitish Kumar is constantly saying that the one who drinks alcohol will definitely die. He also made it clear in the assembly that compensation will not be given to those who die due to drinking spurious liquor. In the assembly, CPI MLA Satendra Kumar demanded compensation for the dependents of the deceased. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar got upset about this. He strongly objected to the demand of the CPI MLA. Also said that he will not give a single penny of compensation to those who die after drinking spurious liquor. Nitish Kumar said that CPI and CPI(M) supported him when he used to contest the Lok Sabha elections.

CM Nitish Kumar is constantly saying that the one who drinks alcohol will surely die. In the Chhapra spurious liquor case, after the matter of making liquor from the spirit stolen from the Mashrakh police station, the team of the excise department is asking to investigate it. The department says that the seized liquor will be investigated in all the police stations of Bihar. Samples of liquor seized in all the police stations will be sent to the lab.
