Goa Tourism News: Jack Sukhija, a member of the Tourism Association of Goa (TTAG), said, “We are seeing a very good number of tourists this year and it has become very difficult to get a room in a five-star hotel in Goa, even small hotels. is also fully booked. He told that there are more tourists from within the country – Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and other cities.

People come from different states and abroad to celebrate Christmas and New Year in Goa, but this time the number surprised everyone. Goa’s airport is very busy because foreign tourists are also coming this year. This information has been shared by Goa Tourism through its official Twitter handle. 

Goa Airport in Dabolim handled 101 flights on Sunday, turning into a busy traveling spot ahead of the new year. The Airports Authority of India said on Twitter, ‘Goa International Airport recorded 100 arrivals and 101 departures with a total passenger count of 31,965 (16046 arrivals and 15919 departures) on Sunday, December 18.’

Let us tell you that a large number of travelers come to Goa between Christmas and New Year. The peak of tourism is the week between these as lakhs of travelers from all over the country come to the state. So much is the demand for travel to Goa that you can imagine that even the Goa government is finding it difficult to find rooms for guests at an event to be held in late December. The state government estimates that more than 81 lakh tourists will visit Goa this year, breaking the previous record of 80 lakh sent in 2019 before the pandemic.
