Two passengers from Dubai and Cambodia reached Madurai Airport on Wednesday. When his Covid test was done here, it turned out to be positive. After this, the number of COVID-19 (COVID-19) positive cases of passengers who returned from abroad has increased to 4.

Tamil Nadu Health and Family Welfare Minister M.A. Subramaniam have confirmed that both passengers were found positive in the corona test. Both these passengers include a woman and her six-year-old daughter who had returned from China via Colombo. On Tuesday, both passengers landed at Madurai airport where the Covid-19 test was done, and whose positive report came.
The Health Minister said that the brother of the 36-year-old woman who tested positive for coronavirus had taken the family to Virudhunagar from Madurai airport. Now their contact tracing will also be done and an RT-PCR test will be done. 
He said that coronavirus has been confirmed in the woman and her 6-year-old daughter. But the report of another girl has come negative. All of them had gone from China to South Korea and Colombo. From there it reached Madurai airport on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, if seen, the number of Covid patients in China has increased so much that even enough beds are not available in hospitals for treatment. Due to this, people returning to India from China and other countries are being checked strictly. Random checking and thermal screening of people landing at all airports are being done. Many patients are also being found infected with this.
