New Delhi. Gold and silver prices are on a rise in the Indian futures market and the international market. Today, on Tuesday, December 27, the gold price on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) is up by 0.07 percent. Silver price today is also trading in the green mark today and it is trading above Rs 69,000 with a gain of 0.28 per cent. In the last trading session i.e. on Monday, the gold rate on MCX closed with a gain of 0.20 per cent and the price of silver closed with a gain of 0.07 per cent.
On Tuesday, the gold rate of 24 carat purity in the futures market (Gold Rate Today) was trading at Rs 54,717 per 10 grams, up by Rs 40 from yesterday’s closing price till 9:10 am. Today the gold price opened at Rs 54,764. Yesterday, the gold price on MCX closed at Rs 54,683 with a gain of Rs 109.
Rise in silver
Silver has gained momentum today on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). Silver rate today has jumped by Rs 190 to Rs 69,265 per kg. Silver rate opened at Rs 69,279 today. The price once went up to Rs 69,380. In the last trading session, the price of silver on MCX climbed by Rs 46 to close at 69,079.
Gold and silver rose in the international market
Today gold and silver are trading in the green mark in the international market. The spot price of gold has increased by 0.34 percent to $ 1,804.75 an ounce today. At the same time, the price of silver in the international market has jumped by 0.61 percent to $ 23.89 an ounce today.
There was a boom in the spot market
There was a rise in the prices of gold and silver in the Indian bullion market last week. At the beginning of the last trading week (December 19 to December 23), the rate of 24 carat gold was Rs 54,248, which increased to Rs 54,366 per 10 grams by last Friday. At the same time, the price of 999 purity silver was Rs 66,898 at the beginning of last week, which went up to Rs 67,822 per kg by Friday.
