Hrishikesh Kanitkar, who recently became the batting coach of the women’s team, gave a motivational speech in the dressing room after the win. He also boosted the confidence of the women’s team for the upcoming matches.
BCCI posted a video from its Twitter account. In which batting coach Rishikesh Kanitkar gave a motivational speech to the women’s team. Kanitkar said, “It was a proud day for us. Not because of the result but because of the way you guys fought. Because of that, you deserve this applause. I can understand what must be going through your mind right now. It was a fun day. That’s what you want to feel when you play for India.

Talking about the second T20 match, Australia, batting first, scored 187 runs at the loss of one wicket in the stipulated 20 overs. In response, India also scored 187 runs at the loss of 5 wickets. Smriti Mandhana scored 79 runs in 49 balls. And it was Richa Ghosh who kept India’s hopes alive. He played an unbeaten inning of 26 runs in 13 balls with the help of 3 sixes.
