New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed the 96th edition of his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program on the occasion of Christmas. This was also his last ‘Mann Ki Baat’ of the year. Prime Minister Modi extended Christmas greetings to the countrymen. He paid tribute to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee remembering him on his 98th birth anniversary. In his address, while bidding farewell to the passing year, he mentioned the achievements of India this year. He said that the year 2022 has been wonderful, India has completed 75 years of independence, and ‘Amrit Kaal’ has begun. India made rapid progress this year and became the fifth-largest economy in the world.

In Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi said that former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee took India to new heights in every field including education, foreign policy, and infrastructure. I humbly bow to him on his 98th birth anniversary. PM said that the next episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ will be the first episode of the year 2023. Observation of the past always gives us inspiration for present and future preparations. In 2022, the strength of the people of the country, their cooperation, their resolve, and their expansion of success was so much that it would be difficult to include everyone in ‘Mann Ki Baat’. The year 2022 will always be remembered for one more reason, that is, the expansion of the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat’.
He said that this year the people of the country also organized many wonderful events to celebrate unity and togetherness. Be it the Madhavpur Mela in Gujarat, where Rukmini’s marriage and Lord Krishna’s relationship with the Northeast are celebrated, or the Kashi-Tamil Sangamam, many colors of unity were visible in these festivals. Prime Minister Modi said, ‘In 2022, the countrymen have written another immortal history. Who can forget the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign in August? Those were the moments, every countryman’s hair stood on end. In this campaign of 75 years of independence, the whole country became tricolor. More than 6 crore people even sent selfies with the tricolor. This Amrit Mahotsav of Independence will continue in the same way next year as well – it will further strengthen the foundation of Amrit Kaal. Friends, this year India has also got the responsibility of chairing the G-20 group. I also discussed this in detail last time. In the year 2023, we have to take the enthusiasm of G-20 to a new height and make this event a mass movement.
The PM said that the 26th of December is ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ and on this occasion, I will have the privilege of participating in a program dedicated to the martyrdom of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh ji and Sahibzada Fateh Singh ji in Delhi. The country will always remember the sacrifice of Sahibzade and Mata Gujri. He said, ‘It is said here – Satyam Kim Pramanam, Pratyakam Kim Pramanam. That is, truth does not require proof, and that which is direct also does not require proof. But when it comes to modern medical science, the most important thing is proof. I am happy that in the era of evidence-based medicine, now Yoga and Ayurveda are standing up to the tests and tests of the modern era. Friends, In today’s era, the more evidence-based Indian medical systems are, the more their acceptance will increase in the whole world. With this thought, an effort is being made in Delhi AIIMS as well.
