Nepal Politics: Political equations have changed in Nepal. The Maoist center headed by Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has severed ties with the ruling organization. Dahal met President Vidya Devi Bhandari on Sunday and submitted his claim for the post of PM. Actually, Dahal has got the support of the opposition party CPN-UML. Along with him, many other small parties are also ready to join hands with him.

Kathmandu. The ongoing deadlock over government formation in Nepal is over now. Maoist leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda will be the next Prime Minister of Nepal. President Bidya Devi Bhandari appointed Prachanda as the new PM of the country.
Prachanda met President Bhandari on Sunday and presented his claim for the post of PM. Prachanda’s party Maoist Center is the third largest party in the Parliament of Nepal. In a dramatic development, the opposition CPN-UML and other smaller parties on Sunday agreed to extend their support to Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center (CPN-MC). With this, the way was cleared for Prachanda to become the next Prime Minister of Nepal.
