By Just News:- After the conclusion of the auspicious Karthika Masam, Srisaila Devasthanam has got a record income of Rs 30,89,27,503. It is 55.5% higher than the last year’s income, which was just Rs 19,86,53,778.
Of the total income generated from October 26 to November 23, general receipts fetched Rs 19,95,73,883. It received Rs 6,73,79,922 through the Hundi collection, Rs 3,25,68,719 from the online sale of tickets, and Rs 94,04,979 as donations for Annadana Prasadam.
Compared to previous years, the streets of temple town witnessed a huge rush, as more than 20 lakh devotees visited the temple and had darshan of Lord Shiva,” said temple Executive officer S Lavanna
The EO said Rs 6,32,69,771 was received from darshan, Rs 4,96,18,620 from sales of laddu prasadam, and Rs 2,20,56,210 from Abhisekham.

Srisailam temple witnessed a heavy rush on Sunday, as the Karthika Masam draws to an end with the final festivities picked up ahead of last Monday, resulting in a traffic jam in the Nallamala forest ghat section. A large number of vehicles were stuck in the ghat section on both sides, including Sunnipenta and Dornala routes, as vehicles lined for about a 5 km stretch in the evening hours of Sunday.
Nandyal SP Raghuveer Reddy personally controlled the situation near Sakshi Ganapathi junction. However, the police cleared the traffic by late evening with great difficulty. About nearly one lakh devotees had darshan at Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple in Srisailam in a span of 24 hours. The figure may rise to over two lahks for Monday, the temple officials expected. As the auspicious month is ending on November 23, devotees are thronging for darshan.
After conducting Dasara festivities successfully, the Srisaila Devasthanam has started making arrangements for the month-long Karthika Masam commencing on October 26. The Masotsvam will end on November 23.
Temple Trust Board Chairman R Chakrapani Reddy and Executive Officer S Lavanna held a meeting with staff on Thursday to discuss arrangements to be made for Karthika Masam as a huge number of pilgrims visit Srisailam during the auspicious month.
Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple in Srisailam has received ISO certification for maintaining quality standards in seven aspects. Srisaila Devasthanam has received ISO-9001 (quality management system certificate), ISO-14001 (environmental management system certificate), ISO-22000 (food safety management system certificate), ISO-50001 (energy management system certificate), ISO-27001 (information security management certificate), Occupation health and safety measures certificate and good hygienic practices certificate.
Nandyal MP Pocha Brahmananda Reddy and Srisailam MLA Silpa Chakrapani Reddy handed over the certificates to temple Executive Officer S Lavanna and temple trust chairman S Chakrapani Reddy on Thursday.
