Peshawar. Three people, including a soldier, were killed in a suicide attack on Monday in Miranshah in Pakistan’s North Waziristan district. The army gave this information. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s media wing, said in a statement that a suicide bomber rammed an army vehicle at the Thol bridge in the Miranshah area of North Waziristan tribal district. Security forces have sealed the area and started a search operation to nab the criminals.
The statement said that three people, including a 33-year-old Naik rank personnel, were killed in the suicide attack. At least 13 people were injured in an explosion in a market in the Khujdar district of Balochistan province in Pakistan on Monday. A senior police officer said that the explosives were placed on a motorcycle parked in the market and detonated by remote control. “Since it was nighttime, there were fewer people around and most of the shops were closed, so there was not much damage,” the official said.
He said, “Police have reached the area and cordoned it off.” The injured have been taken to the district headquarters hospital, out of which the condition of two is said to be serious.
