New Delhi: When politics started taking place on the death of the late Disha Salian, former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, his family members accused the politicians of maligning his name. People of political parties had made various claims regarding the death of Disha Salian.
According to media reports, BJP leader Narayan Rane had claimed some time back that he was raped and murdered. Now BJP MLA Nitesh Rane, raising the issue of Disha Salian’s death again on Thursday, 22 December, has demanded a narco test of former Maharashtra minister Aditya Thackeray in connection with the case.
Disha’s mother Vasanti Salian had told reporters a few months ago, ‘I have lost my only daughter. These people are defaming us. They are dragging my daughter’s name into their politics. This should be closed. We have to live in peace.’ According to media reports, Disha Salian committed suicide on 8 June 2020 by jumping from a high-rise building in Malad, Mumbai. Six days after Disha’s death, Sushant Singh Rajput’s body was found hanging in his apartment.
Vasanti Salian had said about the daughter’s death, ‘We and the police know what happened that day. She had gone to celebrate her birthday. The politicians claim that he was murdered which is false and incorrect. Vasanti Salian had also told that Disha was about to get married and she was with her childhood friends at the time of the incident.
