Prayagraj. Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UP Board) is going to do a new experiment in the board examination 2023 to curb the copying mafia. For the first time, barcodes will be used in all the exam copies of high school and intermediate. Bar code will be on every page of UP board copies. This time, with the help of the code, the copies will be scanned again after the examination so that it can be known whether the copies from which the examinations were conducted were the copies sent by the UP Board to the examination centers or any other.
UP Board Secretary Divya Kant Shukla said that the biggest challenge is to conduct selection tests of examination centers in a transparent manner. That’s why this time barcode is being used in all the copies of UP Board. He told that after the completion of the examination, there will be random checking of the copies so that it will be revealed whether the companies from which the examination has been completed have a copy of the barcode of the UP Board or any other. The secretary said that this would help in taking strict action against those found swapping or tampering with copies during the examination and copying would be strictly curbed.

Earlier, the UP Board had arranged copies of color coding in sensitive districts. But for the first time, barcoded copies will be used in the 2023 high school and intermediate board exams. Let us tell you that about 50 lakh students of high school and intermediate will appear in the UP Board Exam 2023. In order to prepare for the UP Board exam, the process of determining the exam centers has also started.
