BJP Meeting Assembly Polls: Voting for the 60-member Tripura Assembly will be held on February 16. The last date for filing nominations is January 30. The counting of votes will take place on March 2. The BJP formed its first government in Tripura in 2018, ending the 20-year rule of the CPI(M).
New Delhi. An important meeting of the BJP Central Election Committee under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was held at the party headquarters on Friday. In the meeting, the candidates of Tripura, Meghalaya, and Nagaland will be stamped. Many top leaders including Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Bhupendra Yadav, and BJP National President JP Nadda have reached the BJP office for the meeting.
