Veer Guardian 2023: Meet the country’s first female fighter pilot Avni Chaturvedi, now she will show her strength in Japan
Defense Story: It is a matter of pride for India. Squadron leader Avni Chaturvedi, daughter of the country, will show her strength to the whole world in a few days. Actually, she is going to be a part of a joint air exercise with Japan. This aerial exercise has been named Veer Guardian 2023. In this exercise, India will send four Su-30MKI jets, two C-17 aircraft, and 1 IL-78 plane, while Japan will include four F-2 and four F-15 aircraft.

New Delhi. Squadron Leader Avani Chaturvedi of the Indian Air Force will be a part of the joint air exercise with Japan. The joint air exercise ‘Veer Guardian 2023’ of the two countries will be held from January 12 to 26 at Hyakuri and Sayama air bases in Omitama, Japan. Avni will soon leave for Japan for this aerial exercise. India and Japan will conduct bilateral air exercises for the first time.
This air exercise is happening when China is showing its strength in the Indo-Pacific region. This exercise itself has been named ‘Veer Guardian 2023’. It will take place at Hyakura Air Base in Japan. The Indian Air Force said on Saturday that India will send four Su-30MKI jets, two C-17 aircraft, and 1 IL-78 plane for the exercise, while Japan will include four F-2 and four F-15 aircraft.
There was an agreement between the two countries
It was agreed between India and Japan in September last year that the two countries would conduct military exercises and fighter jet drills with bilateral coordination. This agreement was made during the talks between the Defense Ministries of both countries. Veer Guardian 2023 is also being done to further strengthen the mutual strategy of the two countries and to further improve defense coordination.

🌑 Chaturvedi’s father Dinkar Prasad is an engineer for the Bansagar project, while her mother is a homemaker. His elder brother is in the army. He inspired Avni to join the Air Force.
