On this occasion, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has made various announcements for the people of the state from the platform of Jagdalpur on the occasion of Republic Day. Before the assembly elections are to be held at the end of this year, Bhupesh Baghel has announced giving unemployment allowance every month to the unemployed of the state.
Unemployment allowance will be given to unemployed youth in Chhattisgarh from the next financial year. Before the 2018 assembly elections, Congress had promised to give allowance to the unemployed.

On Thursday, on the occasion of the 74th Republic Day, the Chief Minister took the salute of the parade by hoisting the national flag in the main function organized at Lalbagh Maidan of Bastar district headquarters Jagdalpur. After this, CM announced unemployment allowance through a tweet. He wrote in his tweet, “I announce unemployment allowance every month from the next financial year to the unemployed of the state.”
Announcement to make Aerocity in Raipur
Baghel while addressing the people after unfurling the national flag at the Lalbagh parade ground of Jagdalpur, Bastar district headquarters, started a new scheme to build Aerocity near Raipur airport, encourage women entrepreneurship and for construction workers. Made several announcements including starting the Chief Minister Construction Workers Housing Assistance Scheme. He said that Aerocity will be developed near Swami Vivekananda Airport to promote passenger facilities in Raipur Airport, commercial development of the airport area, and employment generation.

The Chief Minister said that a rural industry policy will be formulated in Chhattisgarh to strengthen the cottage industry-based rural economy and to increase the employment and income of the people. He said that a new scheme would be launched to help women groups, women entrepreneurs, and women start-ups to set up industries.
