Madhepura. On the one hand, there is a political ruckus in the country including Bihar regarding the statement of Education Minister Chandrashekhar of Bihar regarding Ramcharitmanas. At the same time, an order from the Principal of BP Mandal Engineering College of Madhepura, Bihar has become a matter of discussion.  In fact, there is resentment among the students against the order given by the Principal of BP Mandal Engineering College for not installing the statue of Saraswati Puja (Sarswati Puja 2023) on the college premises.

Let me tell you, on Tuesday, there was a dispute between the students and the college administration regarding the celebration of Saraswati Puja at BP Mandal Engineering College. The dispute had increased so much that the police, who went to explain to the angry students, were kept inside by closing the main gate for a long time. Giving more information about this, the students said that they had given an application to Principal E. Arvind Kumar Amar and demanded to perform Saraswati Puja on campus. But, the principal refused to publicly install the statue during Saraswati Puja.

In this regard, Principal Arvind Kumar Amar told that instead of the idol, the students have agreed to worship by putting photos in all three hostels. Worshiping in public in the college is more likely to lead to disputes with the people around. The Principal said that for this reason, the attackers have decided that any kind of public worship recitation or events related to religious rituals have been banned on the college campus.

On the other hand, Principal Prof. Arvind Kumar Amar said that if any student does this without permission, then necessary legal action will be taken against the concerned as per the rules. In this regard, BJP Yuva Morcha’s state working committee member Rahul Yadav said that the tradition of worshiping Saraswati, the goddess of learning, has been going on for years in schools and colleges. But, in this way, it is condemnable to ban him in the name of security.
