IAF Plane Crash: Sources said that the Court of Inquiry of the Indian Air Force will get information on whether the collision took place in mid-air or not. The Su-30 had two pilots on board during the crash, while the Mirage 2000 had one pilot. Initial reports said that two pilots are safe, while the third has died.

New Delhi. A plane crashed in Nagla Dida of Bharatpur, Rajasthan on Saturday. District Collector Alok Ranjan said that police and administration are present on the spot. An official told that the accident was so gruesome that till now no information has been found about the pilot. A technical fault is suspected in the accident. Meanwhile, a Sukhoi-30 and Mirage 2000 aircraft crashed near Morena in Madhya Pradesh (Sukhoi-30 & Mirage 2000 Crash).

Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Bagri said that the pilots of the Sukhoi-30 were detected on time and were taken out of the aircraft. He has been sent to the hospital for treatment. Defense sources said that the Court of Inquiry of the Indian Air Force would get information on whether the collision took place in mid-air or not. The Su-30 had two pilots on board during the crash, while the Mirage 2000 had one pilot. Two pilots are safe, while the third has died.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the news of the accident near Kolaras in Morena is very sad. “I have directed the local administration to cooperate with the Air Force for speedy rescue and relief work. I pray to God that the pilots of the planes are safe.

After the
the incident, the Indian Air Force said in a statement, “Two fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed near Gwalior this morning.” The statement said that both aircraft were on a routine operational flight training mission. The Air Force said, “Out of the three pilots of these aircraft, one pilot had suffered fatal injuries and later died.” An inquiry has been ordered to find out the cause of the accident.

Defense Ministry sources said, “The Chief of the Air Staff informed Defense Minister Rajnath Singh about the crash of two Indian Air Force aircraft. The Defense Minister inquired about the well-being of the Indian Air Force pilots and is closely monitoring the developments.

Prime Minister is in Udaipur
The accident happened a few minutes before Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Udaipur. PM Modi is in Rajasthan to celebrate the birth anniversary of Lord Devnarayan, a folk deity worshiped by the Gujjar community in the Bhilwara district. The program is being organized in Malseri Dungri village, the birthplace of Lord Devnarayan, who is believed to be an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The village is 60 km away from Bhilwara.

The fatal accidents come nearly a week after a plane crash in Nepal killed 53 Nepali passengers and 15 foreign nationals, including five Indians and four crew members.
