New Delhi. The last match of the three-match ODI series played between India and New  Zealand was played on 24 February at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. In this exciting match, the Indian team won by 90 runs. Batting first after losing the toss, the Indian team scored 385 runs at the loss of nine wickets in the stipulated overs. While chasing the target, the Kiwi team was bundled out for 295 runs in 41.2 overs. During the match, the performance of some players for the Blue Army was commendable. In such a situation, talk about which five players played an important role in winning the team by performing well in the last match, then their names are as follows-

Shubman Gill:
Shubman Gill’s bat was in excellent rhythm throughout the series. Even in the last match, he was seen in tremendous rhythm. While opening the innings, he played a powerful century innings of 112 runs in 78 balls. Seeing the explosive style of Gill, Rohit could never feel the pressure on himself and both the players gave a great start to the Indian team. Due to which the Indian team was able to reach a big score.

Rohit Sharma:
The appreciation of Captain Rohit Sharma is also less. He also played an explosive century innings of 101 runs in 85 balls, shaking shoulder to shoulder with Gill. Meanwhile, nine fours and six excellent sixes came out of his bat. Apart from this, he also played an important role in winning the team with his excellent captaincy during the fielding.

Shardul Thakur:
Shardul Thakur played an important role in the victory of the Indian team in Indore. During the first batting, he played an important role in reaching the big target by playing a valuable inning of 25 runs in just 17 balls in a critical situation. After this, when the top order batsman of the visiting team was scoring runs in the bowling. During that time, by achieving two back to back successes, he worked to mislead them from the path of victory. Thakur achieved a total of three successes in the last ODI. For which he was adjudged ‘Player of the Match’.

Kuldeep Yadav:
Chasing a big target, New Zealand got off to a great start. Where the bowlers of the blue team were continuously eating runs in front of the opposition batsmen and fighting for wickets. On the other hand, Kuldeep got three successes by spending 62 runs while bowling enchantingly. He took these wickets on important occasions, due to which the opposition batsmen always lost their rhythm. That’s why the appreciation of Kuldeep in Team India’s victory is less.

Hardik Pandya:
After losing the toss, the Indian team was seen shrinking within 300 to 350 at one time. But Hardik Pandya, who came out to bat in the sixth order, batted with understanding and played a fine half-century innings of 54 runs in 38 balls. At the same time, bowling the explosive batsman Finn Allen (0), who came to open the innings for the visiting team, played an important role in spoiling his move in the opening over itself.
