Although Captain Sharma has almost already decided which player will be included in the team in the first ODI. The Indian captain has given a big statement before the match saying, ‘It is unfortunate that we will not be able to give Kishan a role. For the time being, we should give a chance to Shubman Gill. It is clear from Sharma’s statement that he is preparing to field with Gill instead of Kishan in the first ODI.
