The facelift model (MG Hector 2023) of MG Hector has recently been launched at the Auto Expo.
SUV comes with great features
The price of new MG Hector is now between Rs 14.73 lakh to Rs 21.73 lakh ex-showroom. It has been launched in 5 trims, it has the option of Style, Smart, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro and the new range-topping Savvy Pro. The seating capacity of the SUV is 5 seater. Talking about the features in the SUV, it gets the segment’s largest 14-inch infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 7-inch digital driver’s display and multi-color ambient lighting. The list also includes ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof and powered driver seat.
Diesel and petrol engine options The
new Hector gets the same engines as the current engine. It is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol petrol engine. This engine generates power of 143PS and peak torque of 250Nm. Apart from this, a 2-liter diesel is also available in it. This engine is more powerful, which generates power of 170 PS and torque of 350 Nm. Both the engines come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. An eight-speed CVT option could be offered with the petrol engine.
