A six-day mega event “Bharat Parv” will be organized at the Red Fort, which will run from January 26 to 31 on the lawns of the Red Fort and Gyan Path. Cultural performances will be organized here by regional cultural centers as well as cultural troupes of states/union territories.

New Delhi. As part of the Republic Day celebrations, a six-day mega event “Bharat Parv” will be organized at the Red Fort, which will run from January 26 to 31 on the lawns and Gyan Path. Cultural performances by regional cultural centers as well as cultural troupes of states/union territories and a craft market with 65 handicraft stalls will also be organized here.
The Ministry of Tourism has been designated as the nodal ministry for the event, the highlights of which include display of the best Republic Day parade tableaux at the venue, cultural troupes from regional cultural centers as well as states/UTs, pan India food There will be courts. This program will be inaugurated on January 26 at 5:30 pm and the event will continue till 10 pm. At the same time, from 27 to 31 January, it will be open to the general public daily from 12 noon to 10 pm.
Earlier in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 (and virtual in the year 2021) Bharat Parv was organized on the lawn and Gyan Path in front of the Red Fort. The program will include tribal dance performance, performance by cultural troupes, display of Republic Day tableau, illumination of Red Fort etc. Branding and promotions for Dekho Apna Desh, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, G20 and Mission Life will also be included during the event.
