Mumbai. Shiv Sena’s Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray (UBT) faction president Uddhav Thackeray lashed out at Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Saturday. Thackeray was addressing his supporters outside his residence ‘Matoshree’ in Bandra here ahead of a meeting with party leaders. During this, he told his supporters that the party’s ‘bow and arrow’ symbol has been stolen and the thief needs to be taught a lesson.

Let us tell you that giving a big blow to Uddhav Thackeray, the Election Commission (EC) on Friday allotted the name ‘Shiv Sena‘ and its election symbol ‘bow and arrow’ to the group led by CM Shinde. Responding to this on Saturday, Uddhav addressed his supporters at his residence Matoshree in Mumbai.

During this, he said, ‘The bow and arrows have been stolen. The thief needs to be taught a lesson. They (the Shinde faction) should not sit silently in the elections without teaching them a lesson. He is caught. I challenge the thief to the field with a bow and arrow and we will fight him with a flaming torch. The public will not remain without teaching them a lesson.

During this, Uddhav Thackeray while targeting the BJP said, ‘BJP has kept people as slaves. The allegation that is being leveled against us that we took votes in the name of Modi… It was definitely so once upon a time, but today Modi’s name is not being used in Maharashtra… Now he is taking the name of Balasaheb.

The former chief of Shiv Sena said, ‘We have kept restraint, but do not consider Shiv Sainiks as weak. I did not know that I had kept the thief with me. This crowd is the mind of Maharashtra. We have to fight these thieves by joining shoulder to shoulder and carrying the saffron flag.
