Many scholarships are provided by the Government of India for such talented students. Many public sectors i.e. government companies also give scholarships. One such scholarship is being given by the public sector giant ONGC. ONGC Scholarship is given to those students from backward and economically weak families who want to pursue higher education.
ONGC scholarship will be given to 2000 students. In this, 50 percent of seats are reserved for girl students. You can apply for this scholarship both offline and online. The official website for the application is ongcscholar.org. 48000 rupees will be provided every year to the students on being selected for the scholarship.
Who can apply for ONGC PG Scholarship
ONGC scholarship will be available only to those students who have enrolled in Master’ degree in Engineering, MBA, BBA, Geology, and Geophysics in the academic session 2021-23. The selection of students for the ONGC scholarship will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam.
The maximum age of the students should be 30 years.
-General and OBC category students should have a maximum annual income of Rs 2 lakh.
The annual income of SC/ST category students should not be more than 4.5 lakh.
