Pakistan in grip of wave of terrorism
Discussions started in February 2022 between the government and the terrorist organization. By then the government had released at least 100 TTP prisoners. However, there was no progress towards reaching a peace deal with the TTP and the banned outfit withdrew its ceasefire on 28 November. Since then Pakistan is in the grip of the wave of terrorism.
