Agniveer Salary: Agniveers are given a handsome monthly salary package with risk and hardship allowances on joining all three services of defence. On completion of a period of 4 years, Agniveers will be paid a one-time ‘Service Fund’ package of Rs 11.71 lakh. In this, he will get a contribution from the government equal to the amount of his contribution including the interest and interest received on his contribution. In the first year, the salary of Agniveer will be around 4.76 lahks per annum, which will increase to 6.92 lahks per annum in the last year. On selection of Agniveer, apart from the annual package, the candidates will also be given allowances like risk and hardship, ration, dress and travelling allowance. Agniveer Salary in the first year:
On being selected in the first batch of Agniveers in the Indian Army, Indian Air Force and Indian Navy, the candidates will be given a salary package of 30000 per month, in which Agniveer Corpus Fund (Service Fund Package) will be given. 9000 will be deducted as a contribution. Military gratuity will not be given to Agniveers.

Agniveers

Salary to be received by Agniveers for the third year

40,000 per month salary will be given to Agniveers

Agniveer Salary and Allowances
1. Candidates will be given 48 lahks non-contributory life insurance cover during the service.
2. 11.71 lahks (no income tax deduction) will be given as a fund package on completion of 4 years of service.
3. 25% Agniveers will be included in the regular cadre of the service.
4. Risk and hardship allowance, ration, dress and travel allowance will be available.

Agniveer Death/Disability Compensation
Agniveer gets a non-contributory life insurance cover of Rs 48 lakh without any deductible. Apart from this, in case of death during service, Rs 44 lakh will be given. This is available in addition to the service fund for 4 years. On the other hand, in case of disability, compensation will be given as per the details given below.
