Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden’s starter web series ‘Citadel’ is all set to release on April 28 on Prime Video. The espionage drama, which is touted to be the beginning of a new kind of espionage universe, the series ‘Citadel’ is created by Russo Brothers. The trailer has been released, which has raised the curiosity among the fans to know what is going to happen next.
Memories Erased –
The series ‘Citadel’ revolves around Mason Kane (Richard Madden) and Nadia Singh (Priyanka Chopra), two elite agents of the global spy agency Citadel. Eight years ago, when he narrowly escaped a deadly attack, his memories were erased. Today he is leading a normal life with a new identity. A former colleague, Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), soon tracks down Mason. While Nadia initially doesn’t believe him, she eventually does and the two detectives embark on a mission that takes them across the globe. In between saving the world, they also deal with secrets, lies and relationships built on a dangerous, but undying love.

The fast-paced trailer takes you on a roller-coaster ride, the trailer is packed with drama and action. While Priyanka Chopra looks drop-dead gorgeous in her female avatar in some of the scenes, she seems to be switching gears to a spy in no time. It has been difficult for people to compare her new character, but the actor seems to have managed to shape Nadia very differently from Alex. Richard on the other hand had already emerged as an action star with his debut show Bodyguard and we can’t wait to see what he has in store as Mason. Both have not only outdone themselves in action but also have sizzling chemistry which is the best part of this series.
