Delhi: Dead body found inside a car in New Ashok Nagar area, panic in the area

There has been a stir after a dead body was found inside a car in New Ashok Nagar, Delhi. Delhi Police has told that the matter is being investigated. The young man had not reached his home since last night. Some people called the police thinking that he was sleeping inside the car.

New Delhi: A body found inside a car in New Ashok Nagar, one of the most congested areas of the national capital, has created a stir and the people around are scared. Delhi Police itself has informed us about this. Delhi Police said that the matter is being investigated.

According to the information received, the deceased youth is said to be a resident of Jai Ambe apartment flat number 1076. Whose car was parked outside Jai Ambe’s apartment for almost 3 days? The young man had not reached his home since last night. Some people called the police thinking that he was sleeping inside the car.

When the police reached the spot, it was found that a person named Santosh Kumar who was inside the car had died. As soon as the information was received, the crime team along with all the top officers of Delhi Police also reached the spot.

What does Delhi Police have to say?
Today at around 7 pm, Beat Officer Head Constable Ajit saw a person lying on the driver’s seat of Swift Desire Car No. 1. The number plate of the car was DL3CBS-1908. The doors of the car were closed and the man was not moving. On local enquiry, the person’s name was told as Santosh Thakur s/o Shiv Shankar r/o Jai Ambe Apartment, New Kondli age 49 years.

A set of car keys was taken from Santosh’s house and the car was opened. Santosh was found dead during the investigation. The crime team was called and the spot was photographed and inspected. There was no external injury on Santosh’s body. The family members of the deceased have been identified.

On inquiry from the family members of the deceased, it was found that the deceased was addicted to alcohol and on March 8 at around 10 a.m. he left the house after a quarrel with his wife and daughters and since then he was not traceable. A used bottle of liquor was also found in the car. The body has been kept in the LBS mortuary. Further investigation is underway.
