New Delhi. In the Women’s Premier League match played at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, Mumbai Indians badly crushed Royal Challengers Bangalore (Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers Bangalore). The Mumbai team won this match by nine wickets with 5.4 overs remaining. The hero of the victory was the opening batter, Haley Mathews. He made the match one-sided by playing stormy innings and did not give Bangalore any chance to return.
Batting first, Royal Challengers Bangalore, captained by Smriti Mandhana, were all out for 155 runs in the 19th over. While chasing the target, the Mumbai team lost the only wicket in the form of Yastika Bhatia. Haley Mathews scored an unbeaten 77 off 38 balls with the help of 13 fours and a six.
