Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese celebrated Holi on Wednesday at the Raj Bhavan in Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat. On the second day of his India tour, he will enjoy the cricket match between India and Australia with PM Modi.

Ahmedabad: Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is on a 4-day visit to India. On Wednesday, he celebrated Holi at the Raj Bhavan in Gujarat’s capital Gandhinagar and said that the festival of colours symbolizes the victory of good over evil. A state government release said Albanese was received by Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel at the Raj Bhavan function and smeared with gulal on his face. After this, Anthony Albanese posted photos of the ceremony on Twitter and wrote that I am honoured to celebrate Holi in Ahmedabad, India.
Will watch India-Australia match with PM Modi
On the second day of the India tour, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will watch the match between India and Australia along with PM Modi. He will go to Mumbai after watching the match. He will be given a guard of honour here at INS Vikrant. Albanese will reach Delhi by late evening of the same day.
On the third day of his visit, Albanese will be accorded an official welcome at Rashtrapati Bhavan and will meet Prime Minister Modi and President Draupadi Murmu here. Let us inform you that Anthony Albanese became the PM of Australia in May last year. This is his first visit to India as Prime Minister. During this, bilateral talks will also be held between the two countries.
