New Delhi: Foreign Minister S. Jayashankar hosted a dinner at the reception of the Foreign Ministers who participated in the deliberations on Wednesday evening, a day before the important meeting of the G20 countries, But their counterparts in the US, China, Japan and France could not attend it। US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Germany’s Foreign Minister Elena Bayerbock, French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna and Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang could not reach the national capital before dinner at a luxurious hotel in Delhi at around seven pm
However, the foreign ministers of many countries and their representatives joined it। Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Britain Foreign Minister James Claverley, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borel Fontels, Canadian Foreign Minister Milani Jolie, South Africa Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor and Argentine Foreign Minister Santiago Caffiero are among the leaders who have reached Delhi.
It is learned that almost all the foreign ministers who arrived in Delhi attended the reception। However, there is no official confirmation about this yet.
