The report quoted the court as saying, “If the petitioner, Imran Khan, does not appear during the court’s time [ today ], the interim bail will be dismissed। The judge said that the former prime minister has made fun outside the courts”
Responding to the court, Senator Shibli Faraz of Imran Khan’s party said in a tweet that the former PM “honored the courts” But were absent due to his injured leg.
“Imran Khan’s leg was again injured in Lahore High Court yesterday due to a push caused by the lack of security provided by the government। Doctors recommend [ imran ] to rest for 10 days। When healthy, he will face it again। Cases filed on political grounds। [ Imran ] Khan Sahab respects the courts, ” Shibli Faraz said.
This comes when more than 100 cases have been filed against Imran Khan as he was thrown out of power in April last year through a no-confidence motion.
